About the role

What you'll do

  • Produce and review secondary system designs for distribution and transmission networks ranging from 22kV to 220kV.
  • Prepare detailed secondary engineering outputs such as control and relay panel layouts, schematics, ODJBs, drawings, block diagrams, and bills of materials.
  • Take ownership of multidisciplinary projects while keeping delivery on schedule and within budget.
  • Support the development of other engineers and help strengthen the substation engineering team.
  • Work directly with clients as a dependable technical resource and contribute to business growth across different regions.

What we're looking for

  • Strong background in high-voltage secondary electrical engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with relay tools such as Enervista, PCM600, and Digsi.
  • Working knowledge of CAD platforms including MicroStation and AutoCAD.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across geographies and teams.
  • A commitment to keeping up with industry changes and technical improvements.
  • Current CPEng and CMEngNZ registration.
