Role Overview

The Product Engineer will connect product development with manufacturing and help take new sports technology products from concept to launch. This role acts as the main point of coordination across embedded systems, hardware, firmware, algorithms, software, suppliers, and factory operations, ensuring products are technically robust, scalable for manufacturing, cost-conscious, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the Product Owner to define product direction and turn decisions into actionable engineering and manufacturing outputs.
• Share progress updates, risks, and important technical choices with stakeholders across different teams.
• Collaborate with architecture and hardware teams to choose components that satisfy manufacturability, cost, supply availability, and long-term sourcing needs.
• Plan and execute early prototype builds, including schedules and build quantities.
• Partner closely with Operations and Manufacturing in the later stages of development to prepare the product for production.
• Create production workflows and quality control practices with factory partners to ensure readiness for manufacturing.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of engineering experience, with exposure to the full product lifecycle and involvement in at least one hardware project from concept to launch.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
• Practical experience in factory settings and with hands-on prototype construction.
• Experience assessing suppliers and selecting or sourcing components.
• Strong problem-solving ability, along with the capacity to structure, organize, and prioritize work effectively.
• Resourceful, flexible, and proactive approach to teamwork.
• Comfort working with global, cross-functional teams in a fast-moving, dynamic, multicultural environment.
