Role Overview
We are seeking a Programme Supervisor for a permanent, part-time (24 hours per week) position based at the RehabCare Cavan Resource Centre. This role involves supporting people with complex physical and sensory disabilities by facilitating and overseeing learning, social, recreational, and community integration opportunities in Dunboyne and neighboring areas.
The successful candidate will help promote independent living, personal development, and work opportunities for clients. They will assist the manager by supervising programme facilitators, ensuring quality and cost-effective services, and maintaining comprehensive records of individual activities and needs.
The position embraces the values of Supported Self-Directed Living and the New Directions framework, focusing on supporting clients through educational, developmental, social, recreational, and occupational activities. The role also includes exploring new avenues for client advocacy and service enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations ensuring a person-centered service for clients attending Dunboyne Resource Centre.
- Collaborate with families, multidisciplinary teams, and relevant personnel to deliver high-quality services under the guidance of the community services manager.
- Maintain accurate documentation and record-keeping for accountability and service delivery purposes.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualification of QQI Level 6 in health and social care or an equivalent certification.
- Experience working with individuals who have physical and sensory disabilities alongside complex needs.
- Proven involvement in delivering community- and service-based programmes that foster client independence aligned with their abilities and preferences.
- Experience in facilitating, implementing, and reviewing Support/Care Plans.
- Strong focus on health, safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards in service environments.
- Leadership experience including managing and supervising teams and individuals.
- Skills in designing and developing staff schedules.
- Familiarity with the New Directions framework.
- A full clean driving license is preferred.

The salary range is €39,903 to €57,310 (pro-rated), dependent on experience and qualifications.
