Role Overview
We are seeking a Project Lead to remotely oversee a pivotal legal initiative for an organization at the forefront of technology, information, and internet industries. This full-time position offers an annual compensation ranging from $400,000 to $550,000. The successful candidate will spearhead the creation and implementation of legal frameworks tailored to emerging technologies, ensuring regulatory compliance and strategic alignment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute legal strategies that align with project goals and regulatory standards.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to maintain legal compliance throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Lead efforts to assess and mitigate legal risks associated with technological advancements.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and policy documents to safeguard the organization's interests.
- Advise stakeholders on matters including intellectual property, data privacy, and contractual responsibilities.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Possession of a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- At least seven years of legal experience, with a minimum of three years in a project leadership capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of technology-related legal issues such as data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulations surrounding artificial intelligence.
- Proven experience in drafting and negotiating sophisticated legal agreements and contracts.
- Capability to simplify complex legal concepts into actionable business strategies understandable by non-legal personnel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
- Experienced in utilizing legal research tools and navigating compliance frameworks.
