About The Role

Whitewater Group is expanding internationally across Germany and the US and is seeking a skilled Project Planner to be part of our Project Controls team. The role involves managing project planning and scheduling for construction initiatives, particularly in data centres, pharmaceutical, industrial, or critical infrastructure sectors.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with delivery teams, clients, and subcontractors to create, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules. Responsibilities include identifying significant risks and opportunities, tracking progress, and delivering precise reporting to guide decision-making. This position is central to ensuring projects meet safety standards, timelines, and contractual commitments.

Candidate Profile

  • Extensive experience using Primavera P6 for project planning.
  • Demonstrated understanding of construction sequencing, programme logic, and critical path methods.
  • Previous project planning background in construction fields such as Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), Industrial, Pharmaceutical, or Data Centre projects is preferred.
  • Effective client management and communication abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Office suite.
  • Capable of working autonomously while supporting team objectives.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 from design phase through commissioning and handover.
  • Coordinate with project managers, construction crews, design teams, and procurement to ensure schedule accuracy.
  • Monitor project progress relative to baseline schedules while identifying risks or delay factors.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, lookahead schedules, and client presentations.
  • Perform critical path analyses and suggest recovery plans when delays occur.
  • Assist in change management processes, including programme revisions and supporting extension of time claims.
  • Oversee scheduling information from subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Participate in planning meetings with clients and ensure schedules align with current site status and priorities.
