QA/QC Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to oversee quality assurance and control across major EPIC construction projects located in Qatar. The role involves crafting and maintaining effective quality systems to guarantee that all project outcomes meet the highest standards of excellence and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and sustain comprehensive QA/QC frameworks, protocols, and procedures tailored to specific project requirements.
• Ensure that all work adheres strictly to project specifications, regulatory standards, and client expectations.
• Conduct and lead thorough quality inspections, audits, and regular monitoring at various project sites.
• Administer and safeguard all documentation and records pertinent to quality management activities.
• Collaborate closely with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and clients on all quality-related issues.
• Detect quality deviations and enforce corrective and preventive strategies to rectify nonconformance.
• Oversee and verify that all project operations conform with pre-approved quality plans.
• Facilitate quality assessments and support initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant industry codes, standards, and best practice guidelines.
• Lead and develop the QA/QC team to ensure achievement of targeted quality goals.
• Compile and present quality performance reports to project leadership.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 15 years of substantive QA/QC experience within construction sectors including building, infrastructure, and communication projects.
• Minimum of 5 years holding a senior QA/QC Manager or equivalent leadership position on significant projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in setting up and managing QA/QC procedures for EPIC projects of comparable scale and complexity.
• Certification as a QMS Lead Auditor or an equivalent credential.
• In-depth understanding of quality management systems along with applicable industry standards and codes.
• Strong capability to assess compliance and exercise professional judgment based on quality criteria.
• Experience with site-based quality oversight including audits and inspections.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, and proficiency in English, both oral and written.
