This role is within a globally recognized quantitative trading firm known for its pioneering technology, high-performance platforms, and autonomous trading teams. You will be immersed in a collaborative setting where elite engineers and quantitative researchers jointly develop sophisticated trading strategies. Key Responsibilities
- Partner with quantitative researchers to refine and enhance trading strategies.
- Create and upkeep Python-based tools for research purposes and data analysis.
- Improve and optimize frameworks for simulation and backtesting.
- Oversee and maintain research workflows and computational jobs related to quantitative analysis.
- Provide support to research teams globally, with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven expertise in Python programming.
- Experience using data manipulation and statistical libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, or Polars.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, adaptable to fast-paced environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Preferred but Not Mandatory
- Familiarity with C++ development.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash.
- Experience with workflow orchestration or task scheduling tools.
- Basic understanding of financial markets.
