About the Role

This role is within a globally recognized quantitative trading firm known for its pioneering technology, high-performance platforms, and autonomous trading teams. The firm boasts more than twenty years of innovation, continually identifying unique market opportunities and leading in electronic trading.

You will be immersed in a collaborative setting where elite engineers and quantitative researchers jointly develop sophisticated trading strategies. This position offers a dynamic, intellectually challenging workplace where your work will directly influence trading effectiveness and strategy evolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with quantitative researchers to refine and enhance trading strategies.
  • Create and upkeep Python-based tools for research purposes and data analysis.
  • Improve and optimize frameworks for simulation and backtesting.
  • Oversee and maintain research workflows and computational jobs related to quantitative analysis.
  • Provide support to research teams globally, with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven expertise in Python programming.
  • Experience using data manipulation and statistical libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, or Polars.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, adaptable to fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Preferred but Not Mandatory

  • Familiarity with C++ development.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration or task scheduling tools.
  • Basic understanding of financial markets.
