Receiving Clerk

Role overview

This position is part of the Qassim team and is based fully on site. The role is centered in a hypermarket receiving area, where you will handle incoming goods, inspect deliveries, and help keep day-to-day operations accurate and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Accept deliveries from suppliers and verify that they match the required specifications and purchase requests.
• Check quantities and product quality, and thoroughly review all items received.
• Enter received goods information into electronic systems.
• Work with other departments to ensure smooth handling of receiving and storage activities.
• Report any shortages or discrepancies found in incoming deliveries.

Essential requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in goods receiving within a hypermarket or large retail environment.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good command of inventory management systems and related computer applications.

Preferred requirements

• Familiarity with proper storage methods and material movement in a hypermarket setting.
• Previous experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Effective communication skills with suppliers and colleagues.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet defined deadlines.
