Role Overview
Our client, a well-established company in the cosmetics industry, seeks to expand their team by adding a Regulatory Coordinator. This position is ideal for an organized professional aiming to take ownership, grow in leadership, and handle regulatory compliance for new product launches.
Key Responsibilities
- Review new products to verify compliance with applicable legislation, including CEPA 1999, Hazardous Products Act, Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act, Pest Control Products Act, and Safe Food for Canadians Act.
- Support internal and external stakeholders by completing customer-specific regulatory requests, surveys, and forms.
- Conduct research on evolving regulations, identify potential business impacts, and clearly communicate findings to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of experience in regulatory affairs or quality environments.
- Diploma or degree in Chemistry or Regulatory Studies is preferred.
- Experience within the chemical distribution sector is advantageous.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with confidence in sharing regulatory knowledge.
- Ability to prioritize and effectively handle competing workloads.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Positive, proactive team player attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Additional Information
- Compensation ranges between $55,000 and $60,000 annually with benefits, RRSP matching, and other perks.
- Full-time, permanent on-site position based in North York, Ontario, Canada.
- Minimal travel required.
- This role does not involve managing other employees.
