Role overview
A growing life sciences company is hiring a remote Business Development Representative to help expand its commercial pipeline. The business supports the discovery and development of biotherapeutics, working with partners to speed up innovation and move transformative treatments toward market readiness. The environment is fast-moving and entrepreneurial, with a strong emphasis on integrity, honesty, and diligence.
In this role, you will identify potential clients, assess whether they are a strong match, and set up qualified meetings for the Associate Director. The position suits someone who is proactive, precise, and comfortable building rapport through clear, effective communication.

Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and qualify prospects that align with the company’s services and purpose
- Reach out to potential clients by email, phone, and social platforms to create new business opportunities
- Hold meaningful conversations with prospects to understand their needs and judge fit
- Arrange and manage meetings between qualified prospects and the Associate Director
- Keep CRM records current and accurate, including outreach efforts and pipeline status
- Work with internal teammates to improve messaging and strengthen outreach performance
- Track market movement and new opportunities in the biotherapeutics space
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to absorb complex information quickly
- Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Self-driven with a strong focus on results
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Reliable internet and phone connectivity for remote work
- Preferred background in life sciences
- Ability to learn technical biotherapeutics concepts quickly and explain value clearly
- Prior experience in business development, sales, or lead generation is preferred
- CRM proficiency
