Role Overview

The position of Reporter is a full-time, in-person job located in Hisar, Haryana. The primary responsibility involves collecting information from classroom sessions, events, interactions with staff, and student activities to produce precise and captivating stories centered on education. This includes researching subjects related to AFCA’s courses, conducting interviews, verifying information, and crafting clear written material for internal newsletters, social media, and other communication outlets.

Responsibilities

The Reporter will collaborate closely with instructors and administrative personnel to showcase major developments, achievements, and announcements. Additionally, duties may encompass supporting basic multimedia content creation such as photography or brief video clips. Maintaining a consistent on-site presence is essential to cover live activities and stay connected with the educational environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated ability in reporting and news writing, ensuring accurate and timely coverage of AFCA’s activities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills capable of producing content understandable by a broad audience.
• Basic multimedia capabilities to assist with visual or audio content integration.
• Keen attention to detail, proficient fact-checking skills, and excellent organizational abilities.
• Willingness and ability to work on-site in Hisar, cooperating effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
• Educational background in journalism, communications, or related disciplines; experience in education or training settings preferred.
• Familiarity with standard office software, basic image or video editing applications, and social media platforms considered advantageous.
