Role Overview
The position involves managing chemical reactions and synthesizing compounds with a strong emphasis on organic chemistry techniques. The candidate will actively conduct literature searches to support research and development projects and employ thin-layer chromatography (TLC) and proton nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR) to monitor and analyze chemical reactions. Effective collaboration and coordination with team members is essential to ensure project progression and successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and manage chemical reactions with precision.
- Perform comprehensive literature reviews to inform experimental design.
- Monitor reaction progress through TLC techniques.
- Analyze and integrate data from 1H NMR spectroscopy for structural elucidation.
- Handle and prepare reagents carefully to maintain lab safety and experiment integrity.
- Work closely and coordinate tasks with the research and development team effectively.
