Roads Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Roads Engineer to oversee the construction of roadways and related infrastructure, ensuring every task aligns with approved plans, quality standards, and project specifications.

Key Duties

• Interpret engineering and IFC drawings along with project guidelines.
• Manage on-site road and infrastructure operations including earthworks, pavement installation, drainage systems, and utility setups.
• Track daily site activities, progress, workforce deployment, and subcontractor performance.
• Collaborate closely with Survey, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Health, Safety & Environment, Planning, and Project teams.
• Guarantee adherence to approved technical drawings, established methods, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Participate in inspections by clients and consultants, addressing technical feedback and non-conformance reports accordingly.
• Compile daily and weekly progress documentation to aid in timely project completion.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least five years of proven experience handling road and infrastructure development projects.
• Proficient interpretation of engineering drawings combined with strong supervision skills on site.
• Preferred background in government or Ministry of Defense-related projects.
• Competency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-resolution capabilities.
