This opportunity sits within an APJC go-to-market team focused on AI-led outbound sales activity. The position blends sales, marketing, and AI experimentation, with scope to build and test new demand-generation playbooks from the ground up. The role is mentored directly by the regional Head of Sales.

What you will do

You will be responsible for creating top-of-funnel pipeline across selected markets by running AI-powered outbound campaigns, developing sales plays, and turning interest into qualified opportunities for Account Executives.

  • Plan and run AI-driven outbound demand-generation campaigns using both targeted 1:1 outreach and broader 1:many sequences.
  • Launch timely campaigns when market events, outages, or other triggers create an opening, often within hours.
  • Build pipeline through new contact sourcing, personalised outreach across email, phone, LinkedIn, and social channels, and structured follow-up until handoff to AEs.
  • Qualify prospects by learning about their industry, company size, business priorities, and technology stack, then present a clear ThousandEyes value story.
  • Take ownership of post-event follow-up so attendees are moved from event interest to active prospect status.
  • Carry out direct outreach in focused markets while adapting tone, language, and messaging to local and cultural context.
  • Monitor intent signals such as leadership changes, technology shifts, outages, and funding activity to prioritise the best accounts.
  • Re-activate closed-lost and dormant opportunities using Salesforce and Gong insights, plus trigger-based outreach sequences.
  • Localise global content, case studies, and technical material for APAC audiences.
  • Experiment with channels, audiences, and triggers, then document what works and help refine team playbooks.

What we are looking for

  • Commercial thinking with a focus on pipeline, revenue, and measurable outcomes.
  • Comfort using AI tools and a natural tendency to automate repetitive work.
  • Clear, concise written and spoken English communication.
  • Ability to work without a fully defined playbook and make progress in ambiguous situations.
  • Persistence and resilience in outbound sales environments.
  • Up to 3 years of experience in B2B sales, demand generation, or marketing, or current MBA study with a focus on technology, marketing, or strategy.
  • Working knowledge of, or strong interest in, tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Gong.
  • Additional APAC language ability in Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Bahasa Indonesia/Malaysia, or Thai is preferred.
  • Exposure to enterprise software, SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or networking is helpful but not mandatory.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; an MBA is considered an advantage.
