Overview
This role offers a fully remote opportunity with CoSA VFX, a company dedicated to visual effects production. The Scheduling Coordinator acts as a crucial intermediary between production teams and artists, ensuring smooth communication and coordination of resources. You will manage and support between 10 to 20 VFX artists, serving as their primary contact for production-related information.
Key Responsibilities
- Guarantee proper workload distribution among artists to avoid overburdening while maintaining productivity.
- Identify and help resolve any obstacles impeding artists' progress.
- Convey project deadlines clearly to artists and production teams.
- Track available resources, raising any concerns regarding staffing and scheduling.
- Maintain and update a comprehensive priority list across multiple shows using FTrack and internal scheduling tools.
- Assign all departmental tasks promptly and ensure their accurate scheduling within the system.
- Promote artists' well-being by maintaining ongoing communication, monitoring working hours for overtime prevention, and escalating issues to the Operations Manager.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with team members across departments.
- Excellent problem-solving ability to address challenges promptly and efficiently.
- A collaborative spirit and eagerness to contribute positively in a team environment.
- Capacity to work full-time in a remote setup, maintaining connectivity with the team.
- Previous experience in VFX is advantageous but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
