Role Summary and Responsibilities
As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing security operations at the workplace. This involves scheduling and overseeing security personnel, ensuring their training and preparedness for emergencies, and maintaining continuous monitoring of security systems such as CCTV, alarms, and access control devices.
You will lead regular patrols and inspections to guarantee the functionality of physical and technological safeguards. Responding promptly to any security incidents, you will serve as the primary point of contact, compiling detailed reports and collaborating with local authorities as necessary.
Additionally, the role demands enforcing safety rules, verifying visitor identities, and conducting ongoing risk assessments to identify and reduce vulnerabilities. Supervisory duties also include ensuring all security equipment like radios and flashlights are fully operational and arranging for repairs when needed.
