Job Summary
We seek a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to participate in a compensated remote AI training initiative centered on Infrastructure as Code (IaC). This position involves crafting engineering-style prompts, configuring LocalStack sandboxes, and developing high-quality solutions with passing automated tests to aid AI in mastering Terraform, AWS CDK, and CloudFormation.
Responsibilities
- Create realistic, natural language prompts simulating genuine engineering tickets with appropriate ambiguity and context.
- Set up and configure LocalStack environments to validate infrastructure-related tasks.
- Develop original infrastructure states and 'golden solutions' including automated end-to-end tests that demonstrate success.
- Maintain a high standard of task quality, rejecting simple or poorly structured submissions.
- Evaluate responses by selecting the best answer between two AI-generated outputs for infrastructure queries.
- Compose simple initial prompts to guide AI model development.
Qualifications
- Must be a senior-level DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineer.
- Proficient with at least one IaC platform, preferably AWS CDK, Terraform (HCL), or CloudFormation; knowledge of Pulumi, AzureRM, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet also valued.
- Strong programming skills in at least one language used for infrastructure scripting/testing such as TypeScript, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Excellent written English communication abilities, capable of expressing complex technical ideas clearly and adhering to style guidelines.

Compensation and Benefits
- Earn up to 50 USD per hour plus additional incentives; hourly rates depend on skill set and project scope.
- Payments are processed via PayPal and AirTM.
- Full remote engagement with flexible working hours tailored to project availability, typically 5–10 hours weekly but can extend to 40 hours.
- Free access to premium AI tools valued at over 200 USD per month, including GPT and Claude.
