Role and Key Responsibilities

• Develop and revise all client security documentation including SSP, CP, ISRA, PTA/PIA, among others.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the correct deployment of security functions for assigned programs.
• Serve as a trusted consultant on security issues, providing necessary training to program teams.
• Facilitate communication and understanding between client security teams and project teams to resolve compliance and technical security challenges.
• Oversee testing activities and manage vulnerability processes within the program scope.
• Interpret technical security assessment reports such as penetration tests, ACT, Fortify, Tenable, and guide teams on appropriate preventive and corrective measures.
• Evaluate program procedures and outcomes, initiating corrective actions as required.
• Act as a liaison between the program and client security personnel.
• Provide support to corporate security initiatives when necessary.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience across multiple aspects of FISMA compliance.
• Proven expertise working in agile CI/CD environments focusing on technical assessment and testing functions within development, security, and operations (DevSecOps).
• Hands-on experience with Agile development and operational support aligned with FISMA SP 800-53 standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and understand security testing reports effectively.
• Experience managing audits for programs such as SCA/ACT, A-123, IRS 1070.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Salesforce.
• Proficiency in creating and updating NIST RMF 800-series deliverables.
• Experience conducting application-level testing including contingency plan functional and tabletop exercises.
• Competence in performing risk assessments.
• Effective in leading meetings and ensuring team adherence to deadlines.

Preferred Experience

• Background in CMS security considerations.

Education and Certifications

• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in required skill areas (noting CISSP requires 5 years of experience).
• CISSP certification mandatory (CAP certification is not acceptable).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
