Role Overview
Sun Knowledge Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a seasoned Senior Systems & Cloud Administrator to oversee and support its Microsoft-based enterprise environment, including cloud services, Windows servers, and identity platforms. This position is based in Kolkata (Sector V, Salt Lake) and operates in a US night shift setup.
What You Will Handle
- Oversee Microsoft 365 tenants, including user provisioning, licensing, and security configuration.
- Manage Exchange Online as well as hybrid Exchange setups.
- Set up and support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP services.
- Administer Windows Server systems and virtualization environments.
- Work with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) to manage identity lifecycle and access control.
- Carry out server monitoring, maintenance, patching, and upgrade activities.
- Design and support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
- Use PowerShell to automate routine administrative work.
- Investigate and resolve infrastructure, server, email, and cloud issues.
- Assist with internal and external audits, including IAM and Microsoft 365 compliance checks.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, process notes, and SOPs for infrastructure operations.
- Partner with internal teams to maintain high availability and secure IT operations.
Candidate Profile
The ideal professional should bring extensive systems administration or cloud infrastructure experience, along with strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Active Directory, Windows Server, Entra ID, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, backup tools, virtualization, and IAM. Strong troubleshooting ability, clear communication, and the confidence to work independently in a fast-moving environment are important for this role.

- Shift: US shift / night shift.
- Working schedule: 5 days per week.
- Transport support: Company drop facility is available.
- Preferred notice period: Immediate joining to 30 days.
Qualification
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Microsoft certifications in Microsoft 365, Azure, or Windows Server will be considered an advantage.
