Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Spa Therapist to join the wellness team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers in Doha. This position involves delivering personalized, high-quality spa services within a tranquil, luxurious setting. You will collaborate with a high-performing team to provide world-class wellness experiences, combining expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for holistic care to ensure clients feel revitalized and nurtured.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer a diverse selection of spa treatments, such as massages, facials, body therapies, and customized wellness rituals tailored to the unique needs and preferences of each client.
• Conduct detailed consultations to review clients’ health history, concerns, and treatment goals, ensuring safe and personalized care.
• Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, professionalism, and presentation in accordance with spa protocols and industry best practices.
• Create an inviting and serene environment fostering relaxation and building client trust with every interaction.
• Effectively communicate treatment options, benefits, and post-treatment care requirements with clarity and empathy.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless spa operations and share insights about wellness methods and client preferences.
• Efficiently manage time to maintain the quality and thoroughness of treatments while adhering to schedules.
• Maintain organized client records, treatment notes, and inventory, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
• Engage in continuous professional development by keeping abreast of emerging wellness trends and techniques.
• Support a positive team culture by fostering mutual respect and excellence among colleagues.

Required Qualifications

• At least two years of professional experience in a luxury spa environment.
• Possession of a valid spa therapy certification, license, or an equivalent qualification recognized in Qatar.
• Proven expertise in massage and bodywork treatments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to delivering five-star service.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform treatments effectively.
• Comprehensive understanding of spa hygiene, safety protocols, and client confidentiality.
• Ability to tailor treatments to individual client needs and preferences.
• Professional demeanor and presentation consistent with luxury hospitality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications in natural therapies or complementary wellness disciplines.
• Experience or training in facilitating yoga, meditation, or breathwork sessions.
• Advanced certifications in facial and beauty treatments.
• Multilingual skills, particularly fluency in Arabic and English, valued in the Doha region.
• Experience serving diverse, international clientele.
• Knowledge of specialized massage techniques such as Ayurvedic or Thai practices.
• Familiarity with spa management and booking software.
• Professional development in wellness coaching or holistic health fields.
