Role Overview
We are seeking a STEM Researcher for a full-time remote position, designed to create and solve complex STEM problems in order to test and explore the boundaries of large language models. The ideal candidate will devise clear, detailed, and logically sound solutions, demonstrating thorough reasoning across challenging topics.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and resolve demanding STEM problems to analyze limitations of large language models.
- Develop stepwise, lucid solutions characterized by precise and structured explanations.
- Work collaboratively with researchers focused on large language models to ensure problem alignment with evaluation objectives, emphasizing areas such as abstraction, multi-step reasoning, and symbolic manipulation.
- Participate in defining novel benchmarking standards inspired by physics curricula covering topics from undergraduate to PhD level.
- Utilize artificial intelligence to enhance analytical skills and maintain career competitiveness in an AI-driven environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Robust analytical competency rooted in STEM disciplines, with academic preparation at the engineering entrance exam, graduate, or PhD level.
- Proven ability to distill complex STEM concepts into straightforward and accessible explanations.
