Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced System Integration Analyst specialized in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), ABAP, and OData development. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-wide integration solutions connecting SAP and non-SAP systems. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring smooth and secure data exchanges across cloud and on-premise environments, contributing significantly to our digital transformation goals through innovative integration architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and implement integration flows utilizing SAP CPI and Integration Suite.
- Establish and sustain interfaces between SAP and non-SAP platforms in various deployment landscapes.
- Develop and manage OData services via SAP Gateway for API enablement and integration purposes.
- Construct and support integrations employing IDoc, RFC, REST, SOAP, and other API-based communication methods.
- Configure CPI adapters such as OData, SOAP, REST, IDoc, and SFTP alongside middleware components.
- Execute message mapping, perform data transformations, and resolve integration-related issues.
- Continuously monitor integration system performance and troubleshoot connectivity problems proactively.
- Maintain secure authentication, proper authorization, and communication protocols throughout all integration points.
- Work collaboratively with both functional and technical teams to convert business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Participate in testing phases, assist with deployment, document technical processes, and support stabilization post-deployment.
- Engage in ongoing improvements to enhance integration architecture and optimize system efficiency.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- At least 48 months of practical experience with SAP CPI / Integration Suite.
- Proficient in SAP Gateway and OData service creation, including tools such as SEGW, along with service registration, debugging, and testing.
- Experience with REST and SOAP web services integration.
- Comprehensive understanding of integration design patterns, message mapping processes, and data transformation.
- Hands-on experience with SAP systems integration, including SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC environments.
- Knowledge of security standards and protocols like OAuth, certificates, and Basic Authentication.
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and debugging complex integration issues.
- Preferred expertise in ABAP programming and backend system integration support.
