Position Summary

The Task Lead plays a key role in driving operational excellence to support sales and ensure exceptional guest experiences. This role involves maintaining product availability by stocking fixtures, keeping the store clean, executing assigned tasks efficiently, supporting omni-channel activities, and assisting management with select functions such as inventory adjustments. The Task Lead collaborates closely with the Merchandise and Operations Managers focusing on performance metrics, team development, and adherence to processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Help achieve store sales goals by ensuring all operational tasks are completed and merchandise is available for customers.
• Meet compliance requirements and complete all operational processes on schedule, including inventory, shipments, and merchandising.
• Support an inclusive and collaborative environment, assisting in training new associates and cross-training teammates on task-related functions.
• Demonstrate leadership by motivating peers to maximize productivity and working cooperatively with all store team members to grow the business.
• Adhere to company policies, dress code, and standards while completing merchandise resets, planograms, marketing setups, and inventory procedures using company technology.
• Assist with omni-channel services like Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Maintain store presentation and cleanliness across salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break areas.
• Ensure loss prevention protocols are followed and provide outstanding guest service consistently.
• Perform additional operational tasks as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Minimum of two years relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven abilities in multitasking, delegation, problem-solving, and commitment to operational excellence.
• Experience in exceeding task goals and training new hires is highly valued.
• Comfortable using basic technology such as point-of-sale systems and Apple devices.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Work Schedule & Conditions

• Flexible availability required including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Continuous physical activity such as walking, standing, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 25 pounds frequently during shifts.
