About the Role
Join DHL Supply Chain as a Team Leader operating within a unique warehouse environment located inside a prison at Coldingley, GU24 9EX. This permanent full-time position involves supervising and working directly alongside offenders managing orders for the HMPPS Canteen Service, facilitating approved purchases by inmates including food and personal essentials.
Daily Responsibilities
- Lead daily warehouse tasks within the prison setting, collaborating closely with offenders.
- Engage actively in hands-on activities such as picking, packing, and manual handling of items up to 20kg.
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure seamless operational flow.
- Work efficiently under pressure to meet operational targets while remaining organized.
- Collaborate with the team to consistently achieve set objectives.
Candidate Profile
- Able to communicate effectively and handle challenging interactions with tact and professionalism.
- Comfortable working within a prison environment alongside offenders.
- Possess a minimum of three years UK address history to meet security clearance requirements.
- Willing to actively participate in physical warehouse duties.
- Motivated by contributing positively through meaningful work.
