Technical Records Coordinator

Overview

The Technical Records Coordinator plays a crucial role within the QCAA Part M-CAMO and QCAA Part 145 frameworks. This role involves meticulous updating, maintaining, and organizing of technical records for aircraft, including engines, Auxiliary Power Units (APU), and related components. The role encompasses reviewing logbooks, managing Aircraft Directives (AD) documents, and overseeing component data transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update component records alongside the time control system and defect management in Trax software.
• Review and update electronic logbooks for aircraft, engines, APUs, modifications, and repairs.
• Audit completed maintenance work packages and record updates in the time control system.
• Prepare detailed aircraft status reports essential for ARC inspections and Mandatory Data Reviews (MDR) audits.
• Engage in internal and external audits related to Technical Records compliance.
• Support the maintenance of Airworthiness Directives within the time control system.
• Address and resolve inquiries while coordinating with various departments on technical records issues.
• Manage administration of technical records and archival processes.
• Monitor and replenish stocks of stationary documents, including logbooks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum education level: High School diploma.
• Previous experience in Airlines related to Technical Records, Maintenance Management, or Aviation IT Systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of general aviation principles and practices.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.
• Capability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently and perform well in high-pressure operational environments.
