About the Role
Avanceon Middle East & South Asia is looking for a skilled and proactive Technical Team Lead to join their Qatar office. The successful candidate will oversee the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade software solutions within Industrial Automation, Smart City, GIS, and Digital Transformation sectors. This leadership role involves managing a development team and collaborating across multiple technical teams to meet project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and support a team of software developers to achieve project milestones.
- Assign and track development tasks, ensuring sprint goals are met efficiently.
- Engage actively in sprint planning, effort estimation, backlog grooming, and release preparation.
- Maintain project timelines and quality through rigorous code reviews and technical oversight.
- Support resource planning and execution alongside the Technical Manager.
- Develop and maintain software solutions using C#, ASP.NET Core/.NET, ReactJS, REST APIs, and SQL Server.
- Uphold software architecture standards, coding best practices, and security considerations.
- Lead Agile and Scrum workflows, managing sprints and task progress via JIRA.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with .NET teams, BI developers, database teams, Technical Manager, and client integration teams.
- Support integration efforts involving enterprise systems, GIS platforms, SCADA, and third-party applications.
- Incorporate AI-driven development tools such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT for code generation, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Over 7 years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proficient in C#, ASP.NET Web 3.5, ASP.NET Core/.NET, ReactJS, REST API development, and SQL Server.
- Experienced in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA and GitHub.
- Demonstrated ability in conducting technical design and code reviews.
- Experience with AI-assisted coding and development tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with data visualization platforms including Tableau and Power BI.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
