Technology Business Analyst

About the Role

We are looking to hire a Technology Business Analyst to join our OBKYC platform delivery team, where the primary focus will be on business analysis paired with execution throughout the project lifecycle. This position involves working intimately with Product Owners, technology teams, and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are accurately captured and delivered. Note that this is a delivery-centric BA role, and it does not demand expertise in process engineering, operations transformation, or a deep knowledge of KYC processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, examine, and document business and functional requirements effectively.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to refine priorities and clarify requirements.
• Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, User Stories, and clearly defined Acceptance Criteria.
• Lead requirement workshops and participate in solution-focused discussions.
• Assist Agile delivery activities such as sprint planning and backlog grooming.
• Coordinate with technical teams during software development and testing stages.
• Provide support for System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and implementation phases.
• Maintain traceability of requirements and ensure alignment of deliverables.
• Manage communication with stakeholders and facilitate project reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

• Between 7 and 11 years of practical experience in business analysis.
• Solid background in technology delivery and managing change initiatives.
• Proven track record in eliciting and documenting requirements.
• Experience collaborating with Product Owners and development teams within Agile environments.
• Strong skills in supporting UAT and delivery processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
• Experience within Financial Services or the Banking sector.

Preferred Expertise

• Familiarity with Client Due Diligence (CDD), Client Onboarding, or KYC programs.
• Exposure to digital transformation projects.
• Background in Agile delivery methodologies.

Additional Information

• This role does not require prior KYC experience.
• Process engineering, operations experience, and operations transformation are not required for this position.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.
• Candidates who are currently serving a short notice period or can join immediately are prioritized.
