Role Summary
This temporary role (approximately three months) supports the Account Manager(s) to exceed sales and profit goals within the wholesale sales division. The candidate will assist in sales campaigns and daily operations, acting as an essential contact for wholesale accounts. Success requires a proactive approach, strong communication, and problem-solving capability.
Sales Support and Customer Service
- Offer assistance to wholesale clients by addressing inquiries and providing product details.
- Develop sales support tools and presentations tailored for market demands and ongoing seasons.
- Help update and maintain customer databases and sales records consistently.
Order Management and Operations
- Process wholesale orders, ensuring precision and timely fulfillment.
- Collaborate with inventory and logistics to coordinate order deliveries.
- Manage purchase order entries, track orders, and adjust order books including closing, extending, or moving orders.
- Monitor delivery reports and relay status updates to sales teams.
Systems Maintenance and Reporting
- Administer key systems such as NuOrder and Salesforce, including setup and updates.
- Create and share reports regarding open orders, estimated time of arrival, and weekly order statuses.
- Handle account setup and maintenance, return authorization/credit processing, and sample order handling.
- Provide ad hoc support for wholesale operations tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Preferred experience working in wholesale environments.
- Proficiency in computer applications including Excel, Word, QRS, Outlook; Access and Orli systems knowledge is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work cooperatively within a team, maintain organization, and manage task priorities effectively.
- A passion for the product and for sales.
- Physical ability to lift or move items weighing up to 15 pounds.
- College degree is mandatory.
