Test Manager (m/w/d)

Overview

As a Test Manager at ITERGO in Düsseldorf, you will play a central role in shaping and executing test strategies to ensure the highest quality of our products. You will lead and coordinate international test teams, oversee planning and integration of test activities in the development lifecycle, and manage risks associated with quality. Your contributions will help us maintain top standards and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop customized test strategies and continually enhance test processes, tools, and standards to assure product quality.
• Build and lead test organizations, coordinate testing efforts, and foster a collaborative international team environment through effective communication and team-building.
• Plan test activities by integrating them within development cycles and managing resources, schedules, and budgets according to test requirements.
• Identify early quality risks, prioritize test areas strategically, and devise measures to mitigate potential issues.
• Communicate test results clearly by preparing detailed reports and recommendations, coordinating with test management leads, and overseeing reporting activities.

Candidate Profile

• Completed degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics with a minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, ideally including 3 years as a Test Manager.
• Possession of ISTQB certification, preferably at the Advanced Level, is advantageous.
• Proficient in structured testing methodologies, familiar with test frameworks and management tools such as MF ALM and JIRA, and experienced in developing test strategies and plans including automation aspects.
• Experience working as a Test Manager within the insurance sector, specifically focusing on life insurance, interface testing, and implementation of modern case management systems.
• Ability to motivate teams, set clear priorities, and cultivate a quality-driven culture even under time constraints.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English, with a passion for international collaboration and effective stakeholder communication.
