Role Overview
We seek a committed full-time professional to join our team as a Transformer Testing Engineer. The position demands comprehensive travel across Saudi Arabia, aligned with job responsibilities. The role involves testing and commissioning of power transformers across varying voltages, ratings, configurations, and associated sub-equipment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct testing and commissioning of power transformers with diverse voltages, ratings, and configurations alongside related auxiliary equipment, ensuring precise use of testing tools.
- Provide technical clarifications through coordination with sub-suppliers, design engineers, and service providers.
- Plan and develop site logistics to support installation, commissioning, and construction activities.
- Oversee and supervise on-site activities to adhere to project timelines and plans.
- Maintain quality assurance on site, including documenting and reporting any non-conformance issues.
- Uphold safety standards by following Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) guidelines such as risk assessments, loss prevention strategies, zero-harm policies, and protocols for working at heights.
- Engage in essential coordination and continuous follow-ups with clients, consultants, and subcontractors present at the sites.
- Organize all necessary documentation and forms to secure site access passes for personnel and equipment.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field from a recognized university.
- A minimum of three years’ field experience in construction sites.
- Strong written and spoken communication capabilities paired with effective networking, negotiation, and influence skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage workloads independently with flexibility in handling multiple simultaneous tasks.
- Proficient problem-solving skills ensuring performance under pressure and time-sensitive scenarios.
- Cultural sensitivity and responsiveness to various religious, ethnic, tribal, and cultural groups.
- Demonstrated integrity and adherence to high personal behavioral standards.
- Competency with Microsoft Office applications.
