About the Role
Memobottle is seeking a talented Videographer & Content Creator to become a vital part of their expanding marketing team. The primary responsibility centers on filming and conceptualizing compelling video content that strengthens brand recognition, drives engagement on social media platforms, and crafts memorable customer experiences.
Daily Focus
The role emphasizes capturing fast-turnaround social content, key campaign videos, intimate in-office product shots, and broad storytelling elements about the company — including our founders, product development process, team members, and partnerships. Day-to-day shooting mainly utilizes iPhone technology, with high-end cameras and lighting employed for larger projects. The candidate will actively contribute ideas in collaborative sessions, help plan and develop series and narratives, direct video edits, coordinate with offshore editors, and handle own footage editing as necessary.
Ideal Candidate Profile
This is a junior-level position that requires prior hands-on experience with cameras and video editing workflows, rather than extensive agency background. Candidates should present a portfolio showcasing social clips, personal projects, or client work that demonstrates their creative and technical abilities.
Key Skills & Experience
- Expertise in shooting video with an iPhone and familiarity with professional camera operation including exposure and framing.
- Proficient video editing skills using fast editing tools like CapCut and professional software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Strong understanding of lighting techniques to achieve desired visual aesthetics.
- Ability to research and script content efficiently utilizing AI tools.
- Clear and effective communication skills to provide precise briefs to offshore editors and ensure final videos align with the vision.
- Resourcefulness in creating visually appealing sets and scenes using available materials.
- Comfort with conceptualizing and pitching creative ideas during team ideation.
- Demonstrates creativity, coachability, responsiveness, strong time management, and keen attention to detail.
- Passion for producing high volumes of quality content in a dynamic environment and enthusiasm for teamwork.
Typical Weekly Activities
- Filming multiple pieces of social media content primarily via iPhone and overseeing production through to final editing.
- Directing founders and team members on camera during organic content shoots.
- Capturing behind-the-scenes footage for YouTube and other distribution.
- Collaborating and briefing offshore editors to polish campaign videos.
- Constructing and styling in-office sets for product visuals.
- Utilizing AI-enhanced methods for scripting and research refinement.
- Refreshing top-performing past video assets.
- Contributing creative ideas and planning new content series and storylines.
- Adapting trending video formats to fit brand strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead the majority of video production efforts using iPhones and professional equipment when applicable.
- Participate and influence group brainstorming sessions to turn ideas into tangible visual content.
- Translate marketing briefs into effective shoot plans and final edits.
- Develop ongoing content series and engagement hooks suited for social audiences.
- Create comprehensive brand stories highlighting founders, product evolution, team culture, and partnerships.
- Direct on-camera performances and facilitate production quality.
- Manage set design and prop arrangement for product-focused shoots.
- Supervise the editing process by briefing and liaising with external editors to ensure high standard outputs.
- Edit content personally when required to meet deadlines or specific creative goals.
- Iterate successful content assets to extend their lifecycle and reach.
- Support marketing leadership to realize creative visions for campaigns.
- Align content strategy with sales objectives.
- Handle logistical aspects related to creative shoots including equipment and set management.
- Maintain consistent output of high-quality videos amid fast production schedules.
- Adopt additional duties as assigned by the marketing department.
Preferred Skills
- Mastery of multiple professional video editing platforms.
- Experience in performance-focused or direct-response video creation.
- Photography and motion graphic design capabilities are advantageous.
