About the Role
Profectus is seeking experienced Workforce Planners and Strategic Talent Advisors to contribute to major regulatory reform initiatives within Australian Government environments. These roles focus on labour hire talent acquisition and contract management within program support teams. You will oversee complex responsibilities with limited supervision, influencing how programs attract, engage, and retain contingent staff while collaborating closely with senior stakeholders and applying extensive knowledge of Australian Government labour hire protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement recruitment and retention strategies for labour hire personnel, ensuring alignment with agency policies.
- Develop and nurture relationships with external stakeholders and labour hire vendors, leading contract negotiations for both sensitive and routine matters.
- Coordinate with internal departments, including cybersecurity and fraud teams, to handle confidential issues related to contract management.
- Establish connections across programs to comprehend each unit's responsibilities and assist in performance management and talent identification.
- Assess and prioritize organizational capabilities, structures, and procedures for strategic labour hire talent management based on industry best practices.
- Analyze workforce data to advise executives on optimal contractual management of labour hire resources within programs and agencies.
- Promote and disseminate best practices across functions to drive continuous improvements.
- Align performance management and reward systems to foster commitment and innovation across business segments.
Experience and Skills Required
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Established expertise in Australian Government labour hire talent acquisition and contract management frameworks.
- Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Proven capacity to set priorities and consistently deliver high-quality results within deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication capabilities, able to engage effectively and tactfully at all organizational levels.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to task management.
- Demonstrated personal integrity while delivering outcomes within legislative and policy boundaries.
Desirable Experience
- Background in recruitment and labour hire contract management within programmatic environments.
Additional Requirements
- Australian citizenship is mandatory.
- Holding a current AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance is essential.
Working Arrangements
This role offers hybrid working options. Candidates based in Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne will be considered.
