AI Developer Internship - Models, Agents & Data Engineering (Remote)

About the Internship

This internship is designed for candidates to contribute to the development and integration of advanced AI solutions, including predictive machine learning models, large language model (LLM) applications, and autonomous AI agents. The role involves constructing robust data infrastructures such as data pipelines, feature stores, knowledge graphs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, and vector search implementations. Interns will be responsible for designing efficient data schemas, APIs, and AI service architectures that are reusable and scalable.

Additionally, interns will evaluate and adapt public or open-source models, fine-tuning them to fit the organization's business scenarios. They will also develop workflows for model monitoring, assessment, retraining, and human approval. Collaboration with teams working on Node.js/TypeScript, React, mobile applications, and cloud-based services will be a critical aspect of this role.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be able to work remotely from home.
• Ready to commence work between July 25, 2026, and August 29, 2026.
• Available to commit to the full 5-month internship duration.
• Possess relevant skills and a keen interest in AI development and data engineering.

Skills and Expertise Required

• Advanced proficiency in Python including frameworks such as FastAPI.
• Strong understanding of SQL and general data engineering principles.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, agent frameworks, RAG, embeddings, and orchestration of prompts and tools.
• Familiarity with database technologies including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and vector databases.
• Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of deploying AI workloads on AWS using APIs, containerization, and event-driven architectures.
• Ability to convert business needs into structured datasets, models, and maintain production-quality code.
• Focus on creating reliable AI systems with attention to data quality, model performance metrics, and scalable engineering beyond prompt-based solutions.

Compensation and Benefits

The internship offers a stipend ranging from INR 8000 to INR 15000 per month. Additional perks include flexible working hours and a letter of recommendation upon successful completion.
