Analyst - Structured Derivatives

Overview

Join TD Securities as an Analyst in Structured Derivatives, contributing to the firm's expanding structured products division. Based in New York City, this role focuses on supporting sales and execution efforts for tailored investment products aimed at retail and institutional clients across the Americas. The position offers extensive exposure to a variety of asset classes, including derivatives and capital markets, within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in marketing, executing, and managing structured derivatives transactions for diverse client portfolios.
• Support senior sales personnel in client relationship management and business growth activities.
• Coordinate pricing and deal settlement activities with trading, legal, operations, and other internal teams.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of derivatives, structured products, equity markets, and alternative investments.
• Handle client inquiries and deliver ongoing platform support.
• Participate in initiatives to enhance processes, foster automation, and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with sales teams across accounts to meet strategic business goals.

Policies and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with internal standards related to trade capture, credit and market risk, trading strategies, and supervision requirements.
• Accurately input, amend, or cancel trade details into capture systems as directed by sales or trading desks.
• Maintain precise records of economic attributes, counterparty information, and risk positions to enable proper valuation and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Business (Accounting, Finance) or Mathematics/Economics is required.
• Relevant certifications such as FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and 63 are necessary.
• Between 0 to 3 years of related professional experience.

Physical Demands & Travel

• Perform sedentary office work continuously, including sitting and operating standard equipment.

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation package ranges from $100,000 to $150,000 USD annually.
