Job Overview and Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager for our restaurant located in Surrey, British Columbia. This role involves overseeing and organizing daily restaurant functions to ensure smooth operations. The assistant manager will be responsible for evaluating daily activities, planning and coordinating tasks, staff recruitment, scheduling, and maintaining inventory. Keeping health and safety standards intact and providing excellent customer service are also key components of this position. Managing special events and handling customer complaints effectively is a must for success in this role.
Requirements
- Must have completed college, CEGEP, or hold a non-university diploma or certificate from a program lasting 1 to 2 years.
- Possess 1 to under 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in English is required for communication and operational tasks.
Additional Information
- This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 32 hours per week.
- Workplace is onsite in Surrey, BC.
