About the Role

WSP invites applications for the position of Associate Director - Structures based in Wellington, New Zealand. This role offers the chance to lead local client engagement, support business development efforts, and oversee project delivery within the Building Structures Team of the Property and Buildings Sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate engineering tasks and collaborate with other groups to deliver projects on schedule and to budget, while meeting client satisfaction.
  • Advise on training needs, resource allocation, quality assurance, and deliverable standards within the structures group.

Candidate Profile

  • Holds a tertiary qualification in Structural Engineering or Project Delivery-related field.
  • Possesses Chartered Professional Engineering (CPEng) status or an equivalent accreditation.
  • Brings at least 10 years of building engineering experience with a strong background in seismic considerations.
  • Demonstrates extensive senior-level project management experience with a commercial perspective.
  • Experienced in generating client pipelines and fostering industry relationships.
