Role Overview
The Associate Researcher position at Mind Masala is a part-time, remote role dedicated to enabling informed, data-driven decisions within eCommerce operations. The role primarily involves conducting comprehensive market and competitor analyses, monitoring product trend developments, and collecting customer insights across various digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed market and competitor research to support strategic decisions.
- Analyze current product trends and customer feedback from online channels.
- Compile and organize collected data into understandable reports and presentations.
- Identify growth and optimization opportunities within product categories.
- Collaborate efficiently with marketing, product, and operations teams to enhance strategy and customer experience.
- Maintain timely and consistent communication in a remote work environment.
- Ensure accurate and punctual delivery of research findings and documentation.
Candidate Qualifications
- Proficient in researching techniques including collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing data from diverse sources.
- Excellent written communication skills, capable of creating clear reports and summarizing research insights effectively.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to interpret data, recognize patterns, and derive actionable insights.
- Comfortable with digital tools such as spreadsheets and eCommerce platforms or dashboards.
- Prior experience in research, eCommerce, business analysis, or related fields is preferred.
- Educational background in business, economics, marketing, or social sciences is advantageous.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, organized, and keen interest in online retail and consumer behavior are important qualities.
