Deal Advisory and Transaction Services
The Deal Advisory team is multidisciplinary, encompassing specialties such as Restructuring and Insolvency, Transaction Services, Valuations, Modelling, Infrastructure Advisory, and Mergers and Acquisitions. Our team represents a rich tapestry of expertise and enjoys a collaborative, supportive work culture.
Position Opportunity
- Join our Transaction Services group, which focuses on financial due diligence and advisory support for acquisitions, mergers, and divestments.
- This role involves supporting a variety of services adhering to customer requirements and project demands, contributing to broader Deal Advisory objectives.
- The primary work location is Auckland, with collaboration opportunities across Wellington and Christchurch offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver precise, high-quality analysis and reports for client engagements.
- Identify core challenges, conduct thorough investigations, and devise solutions for client problems.
- Manage multiple assignments efficiently while preserving attention to detail under tight schedules.
- Apply insights into business and economic conditions throughout engagement execution.
- Consistently surpass client expectations through exceptional service delivery.
- Support business development efforts aligned with strategic goals.
Candidate Profile
- Possess relevant experience in financial due diligence or external auditing roles.
- Currently hold or be pursuing Chartered Accountant (CA) accreditation or an equivalent finance/business qualification.
- Exemplify meticulous attention to detail and demonstrate the ability to compose impactful, well-reasoned reports.
- Show passion for producing positive client outcomes and value addition.
- Capable of simplifying complex issues and effectively communicating solutions.
- Display eagerness to acquire new skills within an innovative and nurturing environment.
- Enjoy resolving strategic, commercial, and financial challenges across diverse sectors.
