About the Role
Are you someone who enjoys maintaining cleanliness and organization while ensuring a safe and well-kept work environment? We are seeking a Building Custodian to become a vital member of our team. This role requires active participation in cleaning, basic maintenance, seasonal outdoor tasks, and overall upkeep of our office facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform office cleaning duties to maintain a tidy work environment.
- Carry out painting tasks including interior work and small exterior projects.
- Manage lawn care and upkeep of flower beds around the premises.
- Assemble and relocate furniture as needed within the office.
- Monitor building systems such as HVAC, elevator inspections, and fire extinguisher checks.
- Address routine maintenance problems such as leaks and repairs proactively.
- Coordinate with snow removal contractors during winter periods to maintain safe access.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is dependable, self-driven, and enjoys tackling maintenance challenges. Attention to detail and organizing skills are important, as is the ability to comfortably work both indoors and outdoors throughout different seasons.
