Role Overview
Obelisk Support is seeking a Business Operations Associate to contribute to the seamless functioning of our expanding organization. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive behind the scenes, ensuring accurate data management, streamlined processes, and timely follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain consistency in workflows and ensure high-quality data
- Develop and update the operational process documentation as workflows evolve
- Conduct weekly audits including checks on data accuracy, supplier renewals, compliance alerts, and job records or timesheets
- Identify patterns in recurring data issues and report findings
- Manage a comprehensive register of principal operational and system suppliers
- Monitor statutory and operational compliance mandates
- Oversee insurance policy schedules and renewal timelines
- Serve as first contact for routine queries related to operational systems such as Microsoft 365 and proprietary software
- Identify and recommend improvements to simplify current procedures and eliminate inefficiencies
Candidate Profile
- Experience handling multiple concurrent projects or workstreams, such as project management or business analysis roles
- Proficient and inquisitive about system integrations and data flow issues
- Aware of artificial intelligence trends and eager to continue learning
- Capable of working independently and managing tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Alternative Legal Service Provider (ALSP) frameworks or in-house legal operations is advantageous
