Role Overview
We are seeking motivated and dependable Cleaners for retail locations to join our team. This position suits individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, take pride in maintaining cleanliness, and possess keen attention to detail. Your efforts will directly contribute to a safe, welcoming atmosphere for our customers and clients. Positions are currently offered on a casual basis, including weekday and weekend shifts, compensated as per award wages.
Main Duties
- Carry out general cleaning tasks consistently at a high standard
- Spot clean furniture items as needed
- Sweep and mop floors
- Maintain cleanliness of toilets
- Collect and dispose of rubbish
- Clean both internal and external glass surfaces
- Dust all hard surfaces effectively
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team
- Ability to follow instructions and operate independently
- Strong focus on detail
- Excellent skills in customer service
- Proven reliability and punctuality in the workplace
- Knowledgeable about workplace health and safety standards
- Flexibility to work varying hours including public holidays
- Experience operating floor care machinery like scrubbers and buffers is beneficial
