Job purpose

The Collections Officer will be responsible for recovering overdue balances, coordinating with customers to settle outstanding amounts, arranging payment plans where needed, and making sure all collection activities follow company policies as well as applicable legal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Track and secure collectible amounts on a regular recurring schedule.
• Develop a collection approach that fits the company’s overall direction and goals.
• Roll out the collections approach across different customer segments and time cycles.
• Keep merchants informed about their agreements, obligations, and pending dues.
• Share collection updates and progress with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Prepare regular reports and analysis covering the collections process.
• Handle difficult collection issues and troubleshoot operational challenges effectively.

Required qualifications

Candidates should have 0 to 2 years of experience in debt or collections work and hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
