Role overview

BMD Group is seeking an experienced concreter to join its civil construction team in Townsville, Queensland. The role is suited to someone with solid hands-on civil works experience, particularly in formwork and steel fixing, for upcoming projects.

What you’ll be doing

• Carry out concrete-related civil construction tasks as part of a multi-skilled site team.
• Work under the direction of the Leading Hand and site Foreman.
• Follow all BMD Quality, Safety, and Environmental standards and procedures while maintaining safe work practices.

What we’re looking for

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with formwork and steel fixing for civil construction work.
• Prior concreting experience is highly desirable.
• A current driver’s licence is an advantage.
• A valid Construction White Card is desirable.
• Ability to read and understand plans is an added plus.
• Strong commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail.
