About Rajendra & Ursula Joshi Foundation
The Rajendra & Ursula Joshi Foundation (JCF) promotes practice-oriented education and vocational competence. Acting as a knowledge partner of an Indian Skill Development University, the foundation supports this institution according to the principles of the Swiss dual education system.
Through DualEdu Bridge India, JCF aims to establish a sustainable vocational education model inspired by the Swiss system in India. In close collaboration with Swiss experts and educators, the BSDU University of Applied Sciences offers practical and labor market-oriented training programs and continuously enhances its educational offerings.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, flexible, reliable, and open-minded individual to ensure the consistent and system-compliant implementation of established curricula. This role is focused on precise execution rather than the development of new concepts or theoretical discussions.
Role: Curriculum Engineer — Dual Education System (Swiss Model)
Location: Switzerland (with partial remote work possible)
Workload: Part-time at 60–80%
Type: Operational, execution-focused role
Employment: Permanent or contract basis
Responsibilities
- Faithfully execute the curriculum structures and program architectures as defined by the Director of Education & Operations.
- Develop Outcome-Based Education (OBE) frameworks including PEO, PSEO, PO, PSO, Curriculum Outcomes and CO-PO mappings.
- Ensure the curricula (based on the Swiss Dual Education System) are adapted coherently, audit-ready, and aligned with the Indian educational context and OBE standards.
- Derive clear learning and performance objectives, practical components, and assessments.
- Create, version, and maintain module and program documentation.
- Identify and report structural inconsistencies at an early stage.
- Guarantee system conformity in the transfer of Swiss models to the Indian context.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in operational curriculum implementation.
- A hands-on approach to Outcome-Based Education rather than theoretical debate.
- Familiarity and routine use of academic mappings, performance targets, and verification systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel as a work tool.
- Strong communication, coaching, and advisory abilities.
- Fluent in German and English (minimum B2 level).
- Culturally open, highly responsible, and capable of working independently.
- High willingness to learn and accept feedback, with a professional and prompt approach to implementing improvements.
