Innoxsea is developing a vertical AI intelligence platform focused on facilitating cross-border innovation and strategic partnerships within the APAC region, starting with the Life Sciences sector. Their platform aims to interconnect ideas, talent, and capital by creating a dynamic, multi-relational map of the entire innovation ecosystem.

The core of their system is a proprietary data foundation—a sophisticated analytical engine designed to understand complex relationships across the ecosystem.

Role Overview

As a Data & AI Engineer, your work will be pivotal in constructing this foundational knowledge base. You will collaborate closely with the team to transform raw data into structured, actionable intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the entire development cycle of the proprietary knowledge base, including discovering new data sources and validating structured information at scale.
• Utilize modern methods to systematically collect, process, and merge vast quantities of structured and unstructured data sourced from public domains.
• Ensure data quality and completeness by implementing robust cleaning, normalization, and enrichment workflows.
• Analyze and model intricate relationships among various entities within the innovation ecosystem to enhance the platform’s intelligence features.

Candidate Profile

• Highly detail-focused with strong analytical skills and a systematic problem-solving approach.
• Self-motivated learner who is curious, inquisitive, and eager to understand the impact of data and AI.
• Passionate about working on large, complex datasets and crafting structured knowledge representations.
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Computational Biology, or a related quantitative discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge of agentic AI frameworks or AI agent development.
• Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in automated web data extraction techniques.
• Strong Python programming skills including data manipulation libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Exposure to life sciences or healthcare sectors.
