Role Overview

We are looking to hire a Data Analyst to join our client’s data team. The position focuses on applying advanced analytic techniques (excluding machine learning) to answer specific business questions, unify findings, and create actionable business insights. The Data Analyst will collaborate with management and relevant stakeholders to define challenges, analyze data with SQL and Excel, and communicate results that influence business decisions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work closely with management to clearly define, scope, and frame business challenges for analysis.
• Apply knowledge of the broadband sector to quickly grasp contextual data and issues.
• Independently manage key projects from initial conception through to practical recommendations that directly affect company strategy and measurable results.
• Utilize SQL and Excel to extract, analyze, and transform complex data sets into clear insights.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports tracking essential KPIs and business metrics for executive leadership.
• Communicate analytical findings in a compelling narrative supported by visual aids such as charts, graphs, and tables.
• Create professional PowerPoint presentations optimized for clarity and readability, effectively delivering insights to both technical and non-technical senior audiences while understanding organizational dynamics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis.
• Proficient in SQL and Excel with experience in data visualization.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage cross-functionally, presenting to senior leadership.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities, capable of simplifying complex analysis into actionable intelligence.
• Solid fundamentals in statistics and analytical methodologies.
• Experience in the cable or telecommunications industry is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines required; Master’s degree is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

As mandated by Colorado law, an estimated yearly salary range for this consulting role is between $100,000 and $115,000. The compensation depends on multiple factors including experience, education, certifications, and specific skills relevant to the position and delivery model.
