Role Overview

The Data Analyst / Front-End App Developer will convert complex purchasing data into clear, actionable insights by designing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and interactive data applications. Collaborating closely with the Data & AI Product Owner, this role ensures alignment with business requirements, upholds design best practices, and delivers a seamless user experience. Technical proficiency in data analysis and front-end development paired with deep knowledge of purchasing business processes is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and upkeep interactive dashboards and front-end data reporting tools that meet business and product specifications.
• Develop user-friendly features like filters, drill-downs, and interactive data views to improve accessibility and interaction.
• Maintain data analytics accuracy and consistency, following organization-wide standards and definitions.
• Examine purchasing datasets to detect patterns, irregularities, and extract actionable insights supporting strategic decisions.
• Work alongside Data Managers and Product Owner to validate data integrity and address inconsistencies.
• Facilitate root-cause investigation by highlighting significant data trends and anomalies.
• Convert business needs into workable analytics and front-end functionalities.
• Support testing, validation, and deployment phases to assure data product quality and reliability.
• Continuously identify and implement process enhancements and automation opportunities to improve data delivery and user experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or related disciplines; master’s degree considered advantageous.
• Demonstrated background in data analysis, dashboard creation, and frontend application development.
• Expertise in data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalents.
• Proficient with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
• Skilled with SQL and knowledgeable in data querying and management methodologies.
• Experience in data validation, quality assurance, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong problem-solving ability and adeptness at translating business objectives into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the capacity to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
