About the Role
Aaratech Inc. is looking for a Data Analyst specialized in insurance to enhance business operations through insightful data analysis. The role involves processing insurance-related datasets to identify patterns and produce reports that assist underwriting, claims handling, risk management, and strategic business decisions.
Key Duties
- Gather, cleanse, and analyze insurance data collected from various sources.
- Create dynamic dashboards and detailed reports monitoring claims, policy statuses, and overall business metrics.
- Detect trends and provide actionable insights to increase operational effectiveness and mitigate risks.
- Work in partnership with teams from business, finance, underwriting, and IT to enable well-informed decisions based on data.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and high-quality reporting standards.
- Convey analytical results and suggestions clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in Data Science, IT, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related fields.
- Possesses 2 to 3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within insurance or financial services sectors.
- Proficient in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization applications.
- Experience handling insurance-related data such as claims or policies is advantageous.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or equivalents.
- Understanding of insurance analytics concepts, claims reporting, and risk assessment.
- Basic programming skills in Python or R geared towards data analysis.
- Hands-on experience with SQL databases and report generation tools.
- Additional certifications in Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Analytics are beneficial.
