Data Engineer

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This remote role offers hourly compensation ranging from $30 to $90 and requires a weekly commitment of 10 to 40 hours.

Primary Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and sustain scalable ETL pipelines to facilitate seamless data integration and transformation.
• Work collaboratively with diverse teams to assess data requirements and construct customized solutions.
• Enhance existing workflows ensuring improved performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Regularly monitor, diagnose, and resolve issues within production data pipelines to maintain data accuracy.
• Develop clean and thoroughly documented Python code following best industry practices.
• Ensure data quality by implementing robust validation methods throughout data processing stages.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced expertise in Python programming.
• Extensive experience in creating and managing ETL pipelines and data workflows.
• Proven capability to operate effectively in a fully remote and independent setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on clarity and teamwork.
• Strong analytical abilities coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in debugging and optimizing large-scale data systems.
