Data Processing Assistant

Role overview

This position focuses on supporting data-driven operational work by understanding current process needs from stakeholders, preparing data for analysis, and contributing to automation and AI-enabled solutions.

Key duties

• Clarify process needs and problem statements with the relevant stakeholders.
• Carry out data gathering, cleansing, matching, and preparation work on datasets that require analysis.
• Review both structured and unstructured information across different data categories based on stakeholder needs.
• Create automation scripts to improve efficiency in operational systems.
• Use AI tools to examine integrated datasets and surface useful insights.
• Support the development of AI/ML solutions using IoT inputs, including model training and visual analytics detection.
• Track solution performance, help troubleshoot issues, and contribute to ongoing refinement so the deployed analytics continue to run well.

Skills and tools

Useful technical exposure includes Power BI, Power Automate, Microsoft Office, Python, Unity, and Data Fabric. Strong communication, interpersonal ability, problem-solving skills, and self-motivation are also important.

Learning support

A mentor will be assigned so the selected candidate can build the required capabilities during the internship/attachment period.

Work location and schedule

The role is based at Seatrium - Pioneer Yard, 50 Gul Road, Singapore 629353. Islandwide transport is provided. Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 5:15pm, and Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
